Different types of rain.....

It has been a while since my last post, and during this time I have been very busy with a variety of projects. I have released a lot of new music on SoundCloud, and this is the most motivating place I have found so far for plays. Spotify etc. is really frustrating, and unless you are prepared to spend a lot of money on promoters who can get you success in the algorithms on the various platforms you don't seem to get anywhere.

On SoundCloud I have had a very different experience, and since February this year I have had around 65,000 plays all over the world. I have been able to build up a listening base in many countries now, and I have been experimenting with different language versions.

One project recently is with a song of mine called “Rain” which I released in 18 different versions, including versions in Ukrainian, Dutch, Russian, Vietnamese, German and Dutch to see which would be the most listened to. You can hear all the tracks on the music page under the album called “Rain”. In one week there were nearly 9000 plays, and by far the most popular were 1. The alternative Bjork style Icelandic version; 2. Dutch techno; 3 Big band swing and 4. Russian disco pop. Each of these versions had more than 1000 plays each in a week.

If you have time please have a listen to some of the other things I have been doing. This is certainly what I wanted to do - create, perform, write and produce music in all genres. Hence eklektika!
