From the recording LP18 2099 - A BRIGHTER WORLD
“Circular Abundance” celebrates a future where scarcity has given way to a self-renewing flow of energy and resources, and it turns that vision into a joyous dance of sound and imagery. The lyrics picture a planet powered entirely by sun, wind and fusion, where nothing is wasted: metals and materials are endlessly reused, maker-nodes hum in every street, and clean water and data move as freely as the breeze. Its chorus—“Nothing lost, everything turns”—captures both the literal circular economy and a deeper sense of balance between human ingenuity and the Earth’s rhythms. Rather than a dry technical manifesto, the song treats sustainability as a source of exuberance, inviting listeners to celebrate the elegance of a world that powers itself and shares its abundance.
CONCEPT
Energy, Materials, and Economy: From Scarcity to Circular Abundance
· 100% clean energy economy. All major power comes from renewables (solar, wind, fusion, advanced geothermal). Energy storage (supercapacitors, solid-state batteries, grid-scale hydrogen) is seamless.
· Material circularity & zero waste. Virtually every product is designed for disassembly, reuse, and recycling. Rare-earth extraction has minimised environmental harm through closed-loop mining and biomining.
· Abundant “energy surplus.” Because of high-efficiency capture and storage, humanity has more “excess” clean energy than ever before to devote to climate repair, synthetic photosynthesis, atmospheric cleansing, and lifting the poorest regions.
· Decentralized micro-industries. Instead of mega-factories, many industries are local and modular, using “maker-nodes” powered by advanced robotics, AI, and modular factories. This reduces transport emissions and empowers regional autonomy.
· Universal basic infrastructure. Clean water, energy, high-speed connectivity, and advanced transport are considered basic rights. The “infrastructure divide” largely vanished between developed and developing regions.
Lyrics
[Verse 1]
Sunlight in the wires, wind beneath the floor,
Fusion fires humming—no hunger for more.
Batteries of starlight, rivers made of light,
Power flows unending through the day and night.
No smoke in the skyline, no scars in the ground,
Every spark we borrow is endlessly found.
[Chorus]
We live in circular abundance,
Nothing lost, everything turns.
From the pulse of the sun to the heart of the earth,
Every cycle returns and burns—
A world remade, a promise kept,
In the dance of the infinite net.
[Verse 2]
Maker-nodes in every street,
Robots sing the local beat.
Closed-loop mines, the metals spin,
Waste goes out and comes back in.
Water free as rain, data in the breeze,
Every home a lighthouse on a frictionless sea.
[Chorus]
We live in circular abundance,
Nothing lost, everything turns.
From the pulse of the sun to the heart of the earth,
Every cycle returns and burns—
A world remade, a promise kept,
In the dance of the infinite net.
[Bridge]
Excess energy flows like song,
Fuel for the weak to rise up strong.
Synthetic dawns, photosynthetic skies,
Repairing the world with unending supplies.
[Final Chorus]
We live in circular abundance,
Nothing lost, everything turns.
From the pulse of the sun to the heart of the earth,
Every cycle returns and burns—
A world remade, a promise kept,
In the dance of the infinite net.
