From the recording LP11 FUTARIA
Many scholars, futurists, and global risk researchers agree that the greatest challenges for humanity in the coming decades will come from three main domains:
⁃ Environmental limits
⁃ Technological risks
⁃ Societal & geopolitical instability
The greatest future challenges will be a mix of slow-building pressures (climate change, inequality) and fast-onset shocks (pandemics, AI accidents, geopolitical crises). The difficult part is that many of these risks are interconnected — a climate disaster can trigger migration, which fuels political instability, which in turn hampers global cooperation on technology safety.
Lyrics
FRACTURE LINES
Verse 1
The oceans rise, the deserts spread,
The future feasts on what is dead.
The air is thick with ash and flame,
And silence whispers our forgotten name.
Pre-Chorus
Slow poison dripping through the years,
Quick shocks sharpen all our fears.
A chain reaction we can’t rewind,
Every thread pulls another bind.
Chorus
Fracture lines across the earth,
Limits bleeding, twisted birth.
Technology with a shadowed face,
No escape from the tightening lace.
Society shatters, empires fall,
One storm awakens, consuming all.
Verse 2
Circuits spark where nightmares breed,
No mercy lives in the code we seed.
A sickness spreads on unseen breath,
Cities crumble beneath its death.
Pre-Chorus
The fire spreads, the borders close,
Instability forever grows.
From climate’s wound to power’s greed,
Every scar gives rise to need.
Chorus
Fracture lines across the earth,
Limits bleeding, twisted birth.
Technology with a shadowed face,
No escape from the tightening lace.
Society shatters, empires fall,
One storm awakens, consuming all.
Bridge
Every choice a loaded gun,
Every silence, the end begun.
The future waits with broken eyes,
And truth is buried in the lies.
Final Chorus
Fracture lines across the earth,
Limits bleeding, twisted birth.
Technology with a shadowed face,
Humanity lost in its own embrace.
Society shatters, empires fall,
The storm has come — it takes us all.
