From the recording Get Out of My Head EP1

Leaders and politicians often try to go somewhere, taking people with them - but it is not always what is best. There are so many examples, and rather than just walking away such leaders need to go back to the start and do things properly. With references to ancient Greeks!

Lyrics

Like Icarus you flew too high.
Thought you could even touch the sky
And that everyone would worship you.
Pied Piper playing the perfect tune
And so the misjudgement had begun.
As your wings melted in the burning sun
You didn’t fight, you didn’t stay.
All you did was to run away

It’s over now.
Can’t you see.
There’s no way out.
You’re in too deep
You thought it was easy, so easy.
To find the way to go
Admit you were wrong, all along.
Not strong enough to play this part
Turn around. Go back to the start

Like Sisyphus you paid the price.
The boulder an eternal sacrifice
You carry that weight whatever you do.
Sorry means nothing to you
I wish you could admit you’re wrong.
But you could never be that strong
You didn’t care. You didn’t repay.
All you did was to live in yesterday

Have no idea.
What happens now.
Every way.
The same somehow
You thought it was easy, so easy.
To find the way to go
Admit you were wrong, all along.
Not strong enough to play this part
Turn around and go back to the start.

You thought it was easy
You thought it was easy, so easy
Go back to the start
